Over the past 75 years, ADI has worked closely with universities as well as building code and standards development organizations to study the design and performance of different types of ventilation systems. The information gathered through this research is presented within the ADI website.

Code and Standard Involvement

ADI works closely with the following organizations to educate the market as well as develop building codes and standard which instruct installers on the proper installation of ventilation systems.  ADI and its members have served and continue to serve on numerous industry related technical committees.  In 2019 ADI’s President, Suzi Agar presented to members of United States Congress concerning the impact of section 232 Tariffs on material used to construct residential ventilation systems.
